Home » The Audrey Hair Turban Turband Headband
♥ Traditionally turbans were worn by men in Northern Africa, India, and the Middle East to protect their heads from the scorching sun, which were then introduced into English fashion around the end of the 1700s. At the beginning of the 20th century turbans were made fashionable by the Parisian designer Paul Poiret, who started the trend which became popularized by Yves Saint Laurent and major Hollywood starlets such as Clara Bow, Joan Crawford and Lana Turner. Today in the 21st century turbans have become both a daring fashion head piece, becoming a catwalk sensation this year, as seen at Marc Jacobs and Lanvin, but also something that the everyday girl can wear dressed up or down. Get in on the trend!
♥ This gorgeous face print turban, which I call, 'The Audrey', after the iconic Audrey Hepburn, is the perfect way to get into the turban trend. Made from a stunning stretchy monochrome face fabric that can either be worn in a casual way, worn over the ears to keep you warm, keep the sun off your head or glammed up for an evening look. Super strechy, so one size fits all.
