Whether you’re off to sunny Greece, eating ice cream in Italy or shopping til' you drop in France, Beauxoxo has sorted you out with 3 sweet outfit ideas that will be perfect for summer adventures in Europe or wherever your adventures take you!
Look 1: Santorini, Greece
Santorini is truly a magical island of Greece. In Ancient times, Santorini Island was known as Stongili, which means 'round' in Greek. Strongili was the victim of an enormous volcano eruption in 1,500 BC. In fact, the eruption was so huge that many consider it to be the main cause of the destruction of the great Minoan civilization on the island of Crete, situated 70 miles away!! Over the years, Santorini has developed into a very popular holiday destination and especially as a wedding and honeymoon destination, while many international meetings and conferences take place there in summer or in luxurious hotels.
With picturesque white buildings and streets with blue tops nestled against the small alleys of Fira, Imerovigli and Oia it's also of course THE place to be according to Instagram! Every corner you turn has something only dreams can be made of and it truly is wanderlusting at its best!
And so this little outfit will make you blend into your beautiful Santorini surroundings like a dream! I've paired Gal Meet Glam's 'Darla' dress with Beauxoxo's white bow headband for a look that is Insta outfit goals and then some! The 'Darla' dress is so comfy for exploring the pretty island but can also be dressed up for night with some heels. For day I highly recommend some comfy sandals for climbing all those steps!
Look 2: Venice, Italy
Oh Venice, dearest, darling Venice: one of my favourite places in the whole entire world! And with its sparkling canals which are crisscrossed by a million bridges and a maze of echoing alleys and hidden piazzas, it's a spot that is loved by so very many!
Although Italy is very hot in the summer, I've picked this 'Ciao' slogan jumper (they also have it in a t-shirt right here) from Joanie Clothing because I actually adore how they style it on their website with a wisteria skirt. The key to Italy is to layer and to remember that many historic churches demand modest attire to let you in, which means you have to wear shirts that reach to the elbows and trousers or skirts below the knee. Packing a jumper or shawl in your bag with a cooler top and skirt option is really lovely for Venice.
Look 3: The French Riviera, France The French Riviera has been long known as one of the playgrounds for the rich and famous, so it's always fun to dress up in this tres chic part of the world! But the key to remember is that the style is a beautiful mix between nautical and Parisian chic.
And as practical as it is good-looking, French Riviera style remains as relevant today as when it first took shape almost a century ago. It first emerged as one of the first modern resort areas in the late 18th century, and the list of those who frequented this idyllic spot read like a who’s who of stylish cultural tastemakers with F. Scott Fitzgerald, Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse being just three and not to mention the countless celebrities who holiday here every season.
It's all about that one dress and I think I've found it in this 'Austina' dress by Pampelone. I know this part of the world very well so let me assure you the creamy beige shade of this dress with rose detail will look their best in sunny Riviera weather and combine easily with most other hues while keeping you cool. You can take this dress from day to night just swap the shoes and accessories for effortless chic. And Pampelone have a whole Cote D'Azur section to their website for more ideas! I'm styling this prettiest dress with Beauxoxo's Floral Garlands to further amplify that pretty rose detail.
So there you have it: 3 totally versatile looks that will work perfectly as a whole set of gorgeous outfits for your travels! With each and every single look it's possible to dress comfortably and appropriately for an entire day of being on your feet sightseeing, checking out the sites and in museums, riding along on bus tours or boats, people watching at sunny outdoor cafes and to look crazy chic in all those Instas you’ll be taking along the way! And if you're wearing be sure to hashtag #beauxoxo and share them with me on my Instagram right here- it makes my whole entire day to see you on your adventures with a piece of Beauxoxo!
I'd love to know what look is your favourite? Have you been to any of the above destinations? And what's currently on your holiday bucket list? Let me know all your thoughts and lovely wanderlust moments below :) xoxo
